NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC)

National Cadet Corps is a premier youth organization and is the largest youth forum organized and equipped to train the students to become useful citizens of the country for serving the Nation at the time of need. It persistently strives to mould the body and mind of our enterprising and enthusiastic student population. The nation spends a huge amount of money to maintain and train the students in the belief that the money spent for their development is the investment for the future.

It was in 1972 that the NCC was established in Women’s Polytechnic Nedupuzha, which is the signature of women Power, with a great motto – “UNITY AND DISCIPLINE”. NCC is said to be an outstanding symbol of National integration, an excellent nurturing ground for future leaders of the country. It is a great reservoir of disciplined and motivated youth to contribute to the cause of nation building, people’s care and better environment through service in all walks of life. The Cadets were under the Directorate “Kerala and Lakshadweep”, Group “Ernakulam” and in a fantastic very well disciplined Battalion “7 Kerala Girls BN NCC Thrissur” NCC, the name flashes in our minds as an assortment of good citizens and smart personalities. In this College NCC has been moulding generations of students who are praised by the society as very disciplined. It is astonishing and pleasing to see the well disciplined young cadets of today, in this technological world where self discipline is rare, NCC with its Motto ‘Unity and Discipline’ imparts immense knowledge to them. Today discipline in every walk of life is necessary. Nation building is possible only through the process of all-round building up of versatile wealth of its youth.

It is the disciplined training that is given by the NCC that makes cadets like us, who organize every program standing in the forefront of everything. The cadets of NCC receive grace marks for the diploma examinations conducted by the Department of Technical Education. Many Cadets of this institution attended different National level Camps every year.
